It’s time for some misguided optimism!!!  That’s right, it’s Cubs Convention time!  What on earth is Theo Epstein and company going to sell the faithful this year?  Probably a lot of Anthony Rizzo.  However, Chet Coppock is willing to cut the Cubs some slack.  Just focus on the sunny days, hot beer and bleacher babes!

Coppock on Sports and American Taxi is a winning combination!  Have the Bears found a winning combination in their brand new head coach Mark Trestman?  Only time will tell.  But one thing if for sure… Chet Coppock would appreciate it if people stopped comparing Trestman with Mike Ditka!

What can boxing teach the NFL?  How about a greater respect for concussions.  When QBs like Jay Cutler, Michael Vick and Alex Smith suffer concussions, Chet Coppock says there is absolutely no reason they should see the field sooner than a professional boxer would get back in the ring — a minimum of 30 days.
