#212: Coppock On Sports 1-25-2012
Is it possible to head off the beaten path by 180 degrees?  Host Chet Coppock attempts to as he recounts the tale of the “Gangsta of Love”, a third-rate professional wrestler who was recently sentenced to 32 years in prison for having sex with multiple women without telling them he was HIV-positive.

Chet Coppock — brought to you by the fine folks at American Taxi — says Detroit’s decision to sign Prince Fielder for $214 million is one of the worst deals in the history of Major League Baseball.  Tigers fans will know exactly how Cubs fans feel about Alfonso Soriano in a couple years!

#210: Coppock On Sports 1-20-2012
In this episode of “Coppock on Sports” host Chet Coppock takes the temperature of hardball fans in the Windy City, and gets the chills.  Can you remember an off-season with less interest in BOTH Chicago’s MLB clubs?  You think Theo-mania will last?  You think Adam Dunn has started hitting the ball?

Let’s talk about American Taxi, the premiere transportation people in Chicago!  Now, let’s talk about Matt Forte, the premier NFL running back of your Chicago Bears.  Matt, Chet Coppock would love to know why on earth you are planning on playing in the Pro Bowl!?!  Bottom line… don’t do it!

Chicago’s radio godfather Chet Coppock — brought to you by the fine folks at American Taxi — would like to have a couple words with the Bears coaching staff.  Namely, Lovie Smith and Mike Tice need to hire the right QB coach for Jay Cutler.  Passing is the new key to victory in today’s NFL.

#207: Sports Court 1-9-2012
ESPN legal expert Lester Munson joins Chet Coppock for another episode of “Sports Court!”  First up, Munson says that new Cubs mastermind Theo Epstein is too smart to declare 2012 a “rebuilding year” at Wrigley (which it is).  The White Sox already tried calling a spade a spade, and it didn’t go over too well.

American Taxi is proud to bring you another episode of “Coppock on Sports.”  This time, host Chet Coppock makes a plea for people to stop calling the Chicago Bears the “Monsters of the Midway.”  They certainly don’t deserve that nickname given their miserable track record in the last 20 or so years.

“Sports Court” returns with legal expert Lester Munson and host Chet Coppock.  What does it mean for society when the Chicago Sun Times has four reporters covering the Iowa Caucuses and five reporters covering the Bears?  Maybe the GOP should consider putting some betting lines on the next couple primaries!

#204: Coppock On Sports 12-28-2011
American Taxi is hands-down the best transportation company in Chi-town!  And speaking of taxis, after watching his Bears make a series of spineless moves in garbage time vs the Green Bay Packers last weekend, Chet Coppock says its high time to give a certain coach a one-way cab ride out of town.

Sports Court Time!  ESPN legal analyst Lester Munson and Chicago radio legend Chet Coppock discuss whether former Bears WR Sam Hurd is delusional and a victim of entrapment, or if he is fully cognizant following his arrest on drug charges and will negotiate with prosecutors to expose a larger network of criminal activity.
